Mr Oladipo Abiose Aina was born on 11th of May 1952. He is a Fellow, Chartered Institute Of Stockbrokers and Institute of Directors (IOD), Nigeria. Aina obtained his WASC (West Africa secondary certificate) at Titcombe College, Egbe, Kogi State in 1966-1970 and his HSC at Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos. Aina Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and Master of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Corporate Governance and Finance from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK. He is an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is currently a National Council Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is a Director of NASD Limited.
He was head of that Organization before joining Signet. Mr.Aina has had extensive experience in the Money and Capital markets. Prior to joining NAL, he worked with Bank of the North Limited in Gusau, Zamfara state.
He has undergone through several training that is, Training on Securities Lending(Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers(December 2011), Capital Market Oversight Enforcement and Development(July 2011), The Nigeria Stock Exechange Regulation and Risk Management Compliance Forum(April 2010), Introduction to Alternative Investments- New York Instituite of Finance (Febraury 9- 11, 2009), Fixed Income Suite-New York Institute of Finance(February 1-6, 2009), Financial Statement Analysis, Equity Valuation, Wealth Management Essentials and Writing Skills for Finance professionals (WACMS) November 2007, Options: Pricing Hedging and Trading Workshop, The Business School for Financial Markets, (ISMA CENTRE), University of Readings, Uk(July 2005), Investment Analyst Course in the Technical Analyst Program (TAP) West African Capital Market School(WACMS) June 2005.He has also serve previously as member Investment Committee( Sept 1999-Feb 2002), Audit Committee( March 2002- Feb 2004),Honorary Treasurer (Feb 2004-2005), Chairman Tenders Committee(2004-2005) and Ikeja Golf Club as Chairman Tenders Board(2012-2015).
