Adetokunboh Olufela Durotoye, popularly known as Fela Durotoye or FD for short, is the Chief Executive Officer of the GEMSTONE Group. GEMSTONE is an acronym coined from the institution's mandate: "to raise a Generation of leaders that are Empowered, Motivated and Stirred To Operate with Natural Excellence. Fela Durotoye established the GEMSTONE Nation Builders Foundation (GNB Foundation), a non-profit organization, in May 2013. This foundation aims at engaging, empowering and equipping nation builders and community transformers. He does this through sub-groups such as the GEMSTONE Leadership Clubs, GEMSTONE Leaders Connect and GEMSTONE Leadership Corp which have appearance in over 300 primary and secondary schools, over 70 campuses, and across 30 states of the nation respectively.
FD, a renowned motivational speaker and leadership expert, has degrees in Computer Science with Economics (B.Sc.), Strategic Management (M. Phil.) and an MBA. He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Kennedy School of Government of the Harvard Business School, Boston, Yale University, Connecticut, Lagos Business School, and The Leadership Institute, Arlington. Fela Durotoye has won several national and international awards. Some of them are: "UNITED NATIONS YOUNG AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE", "NIGERIAN ACHIEVERS AWARD INSTITUTE (NAAI)", "FLY NETWORK AFRICA INTEGRITY AWARD", "CITY PEOPLE AWARD", etc. He is married to Tara Fela-Durotoye, the CEO of House of Tara International.
