Shareefah Abiola Andu also spelt Sherifat) born June 7th, 1962 is a Nigerian Islamic business woman and philanthropist. She is the founder and managing director of Arabel Nigeria. Shareefah was born to a Nigerian family in Kumasi, Ghana. She is the first of two daughters to Late Abdulsallam Ademola Akintola and Hajia Shifau Adebimpe. She is a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State and her mum, a native of Ogbomosho, Oyo state both Western Nigeria. Losing her dad at a young age, she was particularly influenced and trained by her mother. Her mother made sure she imbibed the ‘’I Can’’ spirit into her daughters which inspired her interest into business.
Shareefah is the current president of Owner Manager Programme4 (OMP4), Lagos Business School, Lagos. She was also Vice President-Muslim Student Society (MSS) Baptist Grammar School, Ibadan(1978 -1979), Social Prefect - Ogbomosho Grammar School (1981), PRO, University of Lagos Chess Club   (1981 - 1983), Member, Oyo State Committee on Better Life for Rural Dwellers (1986 - 1988), Vice Chairman, Editorial Board, Banking & Finance Graduate Students Association, University of Ibadan (1993 - 1995), Secretary General, Jamiyattul Usratis Sakinatil Islamiyya (JUSI 1998 - 2000), First Vice President, Unilag Muslim Alumni (2004 - 2008) She is noted for her charity works and genuine love for people. Shareefah has received wide recognition for contributing to the development of Islam in Nigeria.
